Two dancers' silhouettes on a purple-lit wall, one leaning backwards beneath their raised joined hands.

A loving evil

Changes transform the past, It's a life that no longer exists. A duality of man and woman, From loving to an evil dismissed. What you ask is not given, What you give is not enough. Enough is the anger forgiven, And asking becomes a handcuff. To say no when you mean the opposite, To say yes when you know you lost. This is torture for a loving person, There's no winning, it's a lost cause. Suddenly, the mask falls - yet here you are, holding it in place. Are you deceived or still in hope? Weren't they your healing grace?
